Green Eye Look and Tutorial Using MAC Wonder Woman Valiant Quad

Here is a look featuring many of the products from the MAC Wonder Woman collection. I'd thought at first that I wouldn't love this green palette Valiant, but surprisingly, I did. I love the refreshing greens of this palette - they're more olives and forest green than a true green. And I can't stress enough that greens look amazing on brown eyes.


I used the middle strip in Golden Lariat MSF to contour and as a bronzer.


I used the top strip of Pink Power MSF to highlight the cheekbones.


I used Mighty Aphrodite blush (blend of both sides).


I used Marquise D' lipstick.


I used Emancipation lipglass on top of Marquise D'.

Here's a step-by-step. All eye products MAC unless otherwise noted.

Apply Urban Decay in Sin primer potion all over lid and lower lashline. Using a fluffy shader brush, apply MAC paint pot in Cash Flow on lid.


Using the Charm Pro shader brush or a MAC 239 brush, apply Valiant on lid using patting motions.

Special Event Look Using Chanel Mat Lumiere, MAC Peacocky, Cham Pale and Mickey Contractor Products

I attended a wedding last weekend and I used some of my favorite products from the three most recent MAC collections of Peacocky, Cham Pale, and Mickey Contractor. The products were lovely and they went well with the makeup color palette I had in mind.

I also have to say that Chanel Mat Lumiere foundation is one of the best foundations I have ever tried for special events. It may be THE best foundation for special events for me right now. I had my makeup on for at least 13 hours, and it didn't budge at all. It didn't melt off my face, and still looked as immaculate in the late hours of the night during the reception as it did in the early afternoon wedding ceremony. The foundation looks amazingly flawless and it didn't look as if I had a thick mask of makeup on. It has a soft matte finish but it doesn't look like a flat matte. It gives a sort of soft glow that I really love.

My summer shade is Ginger, but lately I found that Beige is more my color because I lost whatever tan I had during the summer. However, I still mix a tiny bit of Ginger because Beige is a bit too light.

NYX I Dream Of Antigua Eyeshadow Palette Look and Tutorial

As promised, here is a look using the NYX I Dream of Antigua 5-piece eyeshadow palette, the same palette Selena Gomez used at the 2010 MTV Music Awards. As I had mentioned, I love the nice, smooth texture and good pigmentation. I don't usually wear blues but I like this look. Here's a step-by-step. All products NYX unless otherwise stated.


Apply Urban Decay primer potion in Sin all over lid and lower lashline. Using a fluffy shader brush, apply MAC Delft paint pot on lid.


Using a stiff shader brush like the 239, apply the third shadow from the left on the lid.
