NYX Xtreme Lip Cream Swatches and Review

I've tried NYX soft matte lip creams before, but this is the first time I roadtested the Xtreme Lip Creams. These are amazingly pigmented lip creams with bold, rich shades with a glossy finish. I really don't think they are lip glosses because the texture is just like liquid lipstick. The product is saturated in color and applies thickly, as I said, just like melted lipstick. It comes in a sponge tip applicator for precise application of the product on the lips. Here are some swatches:

NYX Advanced Salon Formula Nail Polish Swatches and Review

I tried some NYX nail polishes a few weeks ago. I didn't even know NYX carries nail polish! All I knew was that NYX carries buttery and rich eye shadows, so when I found out that they carry nail polish, I really didn't know what to expect. I was able to try seven shades from their Salon Formula line, and here are my thoughts and swatches.


Smooth Operator



Smooth Operator is a nice metallic taupe. I believe this is a foil. It looks very clean on the fingers, and is a nice shade for the office or any gathering where you want neutral nails but with some kick.


Hunter Green







Hunter Green pretty much describes itself. It's a rich hunter green cream that is very pretty. It is a very wearable green and is suitable for the upcoming holiday.


Enchanted Forest











Enchanted Forest is one of the most gorgeous shades in my entire collection, and believe me, I have quite a few. It is a breathtaking emerald green shimmer with some gold sparkles. Absolutely beautiful, hands-down my favorite out of all the NYX polishes I have.


Royal Blue





Royal Blue is another pretty color and pretty much describes itself. The blue is very rich and opaque in two coats.


Be Jeweled over Royal Blue





Be Jeweled is in the same family as Enchanted Forest. Be Jeweled is an aqua shimmer with gold and teal sparkles. It's pretty but I like Enchanted Forest better.


Sepia



Sepia is a nice glossy navy blue. Not very unique but if you don't own something like this in your stash, this is a nice addition.


Maroon







Maroon is my favorite next to Enchanted Forest. A beautiful garnet color with shimmer flecks. This is such a great holiday color as well.

All in all, I am loving the formula of these polishes. They go on really well and are opaque in two coats. They are neither too thick nor too runny, and application was a cinch. I also like the square bottles. I am really partial to the shimmery ones of these collection. The shimmer particles are small, but the effect is just breathtaking. Wow. I actually like these kinds of micro-shimmers as opposed to glitters.
