MAC Surf Baby: Skinsheen Bronzer Stick, Bronzing Powder and Studio Careblend/Pressed Powder Swatches and Review

Here are some of my thoughts and swatches on the MAC Surf Baby Skinsheen Bronzer Sticks, Careblend Pressed Powders and bronzing powders. Soft Smoky Plum Eye Look and Tutorial Using MAC Palace Pedigreed Quad

I have been shopping my stash and there are some pretty stuff that I haven't used in quite a while! I love smokey plummy looks, so here's one using the Palace Pedigreed eyeshadow quad from the MAC Fabulous Felines collection of last year.


Ava (top)

To give the shadows a richness and depth that normally is difficult to achieve by just applying shadows straight on the skin, I used Sue Devitt Eye Intensifier Pencil in Ava, a rich purple.



I also used MAC Shale shadow for this particular look. I haven't used this shadow in a long time so I forgot how pretty it is.



I also used MAC Nocturnal shadow for the crease and outer V.

Here is a step-by-step. All products MAC unless otherwise stated.


Apply Urban Decay primer potion in Eden all over lid, browbone and lower lashline. Apply Sue Devitt intensifier pencil in Ava on lower lid.


Using a stiff shader brush, apply Palace Pedigreed over Ava and all over lid. Using the Sonia Kashuk blending brush, apply Shale on outer lid.


Blend the 2 colors with the 224 brush.


Using the same SK blender brush, apply Nocturnal on outer V.
