Full of Grace

Pink Tinge

I don't know why my lip balms have no SPF in them, when I am very particular about slathering sunscreen on my face. It seems that my whole face is protected everyday except the lips! I am glad MAC brought back the Sun Tints that launched in the MAC Baby Bloom collection.

Honestly, I live in a very hot environment during summer, and I am very particular about slathering sunscreen on my face (nothing lower than SPF 90) and my body (I use SPF 100). But I ALWAYS forget to put sunscreen on my lips. This product is probably the best product for me. It has the famous MAC vanilla scent. The texture is not sticky, and it reminds me of MAC's lip gelees, but a bit thicker.

Suntints SPF 20 liquid lip balm from the Surf, Baby collection has 3 variants. Lilt of Lily is a soft creamy pale pink, Pink Tinge is a clean bright yellow pink with gold pearl, Full of Grace is soft sheer rose. They don't have much pigmentation so if you are looking for pigment, this is not for you, but packs on shine and amazing luster.

I have many different kinds of lip balms, but what I like about this is the convenient squeeze tube, as I don't like dipping my fingers in pots like those tinted lip conditioners from MAC. I also like the pretty shades and the sunscreen. I will be going to a beautiful, white-sand beach in the Pacific very soon, so these babies will go with me to paradise!

Lipsticks:

Naturally Eccentric, Mocha

Mocha

Naturally Eccentric

Mocha was my first MAC lipstick ever, along with Cosmo, which I purchased in 2001 or 2002. Now that it is in Surf, Baby collection, I am liking it all over again. It is a peachy yellow brown that many might not like too much, but I am loving it especially with Girl on Board on top - so pretty! Perfect with gold, bronze and neutral eye looks.

Naturally Eccentric is a creamy white nude that might be too light for me, but might look great paired with the perfec shade of lipliner and a darker lipglass. By itself, though, it's - eh.

I am also getting Bust Out! which is a mid-tone violet lustre, just because I am a sucker for purple-tinged lippies. Hibiscus looks great as well, a bright orange coral in the creamsheen formula.

Lipglass:

Girl on Board, Strange Potion

Mocha lipstick, Strange Potion, Girl on Board

Girl on Board

I am loving these two lipglasses. Girl on Board is the perfect pale white gold that you can use to spruce up neutral lipsticks or tone down darker ones. This looks amazing with Mocha lipstick underneath.

Strange Potion is a repromote from the Venomous Villains collection. It is not as pigmented on the lips as it looks in the tube, so be warned about that. However, it does give a nice tinge of peach to the lips with luscious shimmer.

All in all, I am liking one or two of each of the products in this collection. I like the Sun Tints for the SPF 20 it provides (although they don't have much pigment at all), and my favorite is Full of Grace. As for the lipsticks, I am liking Mocha and will be getting Bust Out!, a very pretty violet lipsticks (full swatches when this hits the stores). As for the lipglass, Girl on Board is my favorite, followed by Strange Potion.
