In Focus: MAC Mineralize Skinfinishes in Lightscapade and Porcelain Pink Swatches and Review

I've reviewed these two skinfinishes in my MAC Fall Colour Collection swatches and review, but I am posting clearer product photos in this entry. I collect mineralize skinfinishes and I believe I now have around 40. I keep them in two trays that I found at Target and featured in My Blush Collection and Storage entry:

some random items in one of the trays

Why do I like mineralize skinfinishes? I love the glow they impart and how they give a radiant finish to the skin. It de-flats the complexion and makes the skin look younger because of the glow. However, MSFs have different colors, shades, finishes and texture. Here are the two MSFs we shall focus on today.

MAC Fall Colour Collection Clearer Swatches

As promised, here are some clearer swatches of the items from the MAC Fall Colour Collection. All swatches are under direct sunlight, which I think is the best lighting because you really get to see the products on actual skin under the most natural lighting. I didn't take swatches of some of the pigments because the ones I had from the previous post were somewhat clear already. I will also not comment on the products because I already gave my initial review on these. To read my reviews, check out my MAC Fall Colour Initial Swatches and Review Part I: Parlor Smoke Quad, Pigments, Lightscapade and Porcelain Pink MSFs. Also see MAC Fall Colour Initial Swatches and Review Part II: Angel Flame Quad, Pigments, Chromagraphic Pencils, Lipsticks.

MAC Fall Colour Initial Swatches and Review Part I: Parlor Smoke Quad, Pigments, Lightscapade and Porcelain Pink MSFs

I went to the MAC Fall Colour Collection's unveiling last week, and I was able to play with the colours. Here are my initial thoughts on this collection.

MAC Fall Colour Collection 2011 (originally named Cindy Sherman but it was renamed Fall Colour Collection 2011.  Cindy Sherman's only participation was during the campaign promotional photos.  She was not part of the creative process for this collection.)

MAC Fall Event 2011: Posh Paradise, Styledriven, Art of Powder, Fall Colour Collection 2011

I went to the MAC Fall event at the Biltmore last Tuesday, and just as expected, they showcased several collections for this fall, mainly Posh Paradise, Styledriven, Art of Powder, Matchmaster Foundation SPF 15 and MAC Fall Colour Collection 2011. I will be posting some pictures from the event, but swatches will be posted with my separate collection entries/reviews. It was a fun event, even though the place wasn't as jampacked at let's say Tartan Tale, Venomous Villains or Hello Kitty (the most gigantic crowd I've ever seen inside a MAC store - and beyond).

The lovely half-naked model on a pedestal. It was like the Posh Paradise poster came to life! And yes, she's a real person, not a mannequin!
