My Blush Collection and Storage

Here is my blush collection that I've accumulated for the past few years. Take note that a big percentage of my stash (around 70%)I had bought myself (I was/am a MAC MSF collector from way back), and the rest were press samples. This post is put up just to show you how I store my stash. I will be paring this down very soon as I need more space.

I went to Target one day and I saw these 3-compartment trays that fit my compacts perfectly. I bought two and I am so glad I did because they also fit in the blush drawer of my 8-drawer vanity. They look very organized instead of them being in a box piled one on top of the other. This way, I can easily see and use the blush or mineralize skinfinish I will use for that day.

Second Tray:

My Rock & Republic, MAC, Tarte, NARS blushes

My Mineral Blush Collection:

Underneath my two 3-compartment trays for my blush, bronzers, beauty powders and mineralize skinfinishes are my mineral blushes. I am a fan of mineral blushes. They do not give me breakouts and are more affordable than pressed blushes, and they have a wide variety of finishes, shades and textures to choose from. They are contained in these plastic utensil trays I bought at Target. There are two levels of these blushes in each tray.

Closeups:

Some of these are called shimmer blushes which operate like a MAC mineralize skinfinish- more sheen/radiance to the skin.

I found some shrink-wrapped brand-new Lumiere blushes I bought from a sale.

Oh my Benefit Coralista is hiding underneath! Also in the photo are my back-up Joppa mineral foundations. Joppa is my favorite mineral foundation nowadays - very flawless, silky, great coverage, and doesn't break me out.

At the very front of this photo is my O My! blush from the now defunct Valerie Beauty Minerals- I loved Val's minerals. O My! is a dupe of - what else?- NARS Orgasm. The big Ocean Mist pot is my favorite blush from Ocean Mist- Vanora.

If you are allergic to mica, Cory Cosmetics has some beautiful and affordable mica-free blushes.

my pretty Aromaleigh blushes (sadly Aromaleigh is now closed). I loved Verve, also a dupe of the NARS Orgasm. Rococo is amazing too.

I guess the difference of my stash collection is that I am both a fan of pressed and loose mineral blushes.  I like to support small women-owned businesses, that is why I am proud to own these mineral blushes.  They are also of great quality and great for my combination skin.  I like the affordability and wide range of shades of these blushes.  You can set them with a finishing spray or apply them moist for better staying power.  Thanks for looking!

Hey, I love these plastic bins and would love to try them. I don't have access to a Target, do you know where I could get some online? Thanks :-)
