Peachy Plums Using MAC Mineralize Shadows and Aromaleigh En Pointe

Here's a look using the dark berry/plum color in the new MAC mineralize eyeshadow in Odd Bits from the Colour Craft collection. I really like the colors in this quad because the shades are pretty versatile, an odd mix (which reflects its name) of cool and warm tones.


I also used the dark brown shade in the Inter-View mineralize eyeshadow from Red She Said collection to deepen the crease.


My full size Aromaleigh shadows from the En Pointe collection arrived 3 weeks ago, and I was excited to use the lovely, feminine colors. I used Giselle for this look, a pretty peachy pink.


I also used Aromaleigh's Red drama queen liner for this look.


I also used Smooth Merge MSF for this look.

Apply Bare Canvas paint on lid. Using Loew Cornell Maxine's Mop 3/8" brush (or the 239 brush), apply Aromaleigh shadow in Giselle foiled on the lid using Charged Water.


Using the other side of the brush, apply the berry color in the Odd Bits quad on the crease going down to the outer V.




Using the Sonia Kashuk blender brush, apply Cranberry eyeshadow on the outer V, then add the brown side of Inter-View. Blend the colors with the 224 brush.


Apply Vanilla pigment on the browbone using Stila No. 5 brush.


Wetline Aromaleigh Drama Queen mineral liner in Red using Sonia Kashuk bent eyeliner brush and Charged Water.


Apply Urban Decay 24/7 liner in Zero to tightline and on waterline. Using the Sonia Kashuk mini-crease/detail brush, apply Giselle on inner lower lashline, and Cranberry on outer lower lashline. Apply falsies (I forget the brand) and mascara. Although this is a very pretty color, this was my first time to use mineral liner with falsies, so it caked a little bit as I was running a second application of liner on my lashline. Pardon the mess!

Pinks Using Aromaleigh En Pointe Mineral Eyeshadows

So here's part 2 of my Aromaleigh En Pointe look. I'm wearing the pinks from the En Pointe collection, and I am loving it!! I love how romantic and very feminine the pinks are. My favorites are Giselle, Aurora and Pique, the colors I used for this look.


I used one of the Aromaleigh Drama Queen mineral eyeliners (the Red one) for this look. I just got this loot together with my En Pointe samples, and I really love the eyeliners! They really are drama queens and make your eyes the center of attention. They're gorgeous. The Rocks! Sonic eyeshadow in Flowersofromance was a freebie since my order reached $35.


I added just a tiny bit of Slowburn to make the transition easier and more gradual from pink to dark brown (MAC Inter-view mineralize shadow).


I used MAC Inter-view mineralize eyeshadow trio for this look.


I used MAC Purple Rite lipstick in this look and this is hands-down my favorite purple lipstick of all! Yes, better than Lavender Whip, in my opinion!

Here's a step-by-step. Alll products Aromaleigh unless otherwise noted.


Apply MAC Butternutty shadestick all over lid and lower lashline. Using a fluffy brush, apply MAC paint pot in Girl Friendly on lid.


Using Loew Cornell Maxine's Mop 3/8" brush, apply Aurora foiled on the lid using MAC Charged Water.


Using the other side of the same brush, apply Giselle damp on outer lid.


Using the same brush, apply Pique on other V and crease. Apply a little bit of Slowburn and blend into Pique and Giselle using MAC 224 brush.




Using Sonia Kashuk blender brush, apply dark brown side of MAC Inter-view mineralize eyeshadow trio.


Blend the colors in using the MAC 224 brush.


Wetline Drama Queen in Red on upper lashline.


Using the MAC 227 brush, apply MAC Soft Petals shadow on browbone to highlight. Apply Urban Decay 24/7 liner in Zero to tightline and on waterline. Using the Sonia Kashuk mini-crease/detail brush, apply Aurora on inner lower lashline, and Pique on outer lower lashline. Apply mascara.

Greens and Olives Using Aromaleigh En Pointe Mineral Shadows

I got some samples of the new limited edition eyeshadow collection from Aromaleigh, the En Pointe. It celebrates the art of dance/ballet. I used two of the green-hued shadows from this collection for this look. I can't wait to use the rose and pink colors from this collection (signature colors of ballet) because they are just gorgeous. For this look, though, greens are the focal point.


Here are the specific shadows I used.


I also used my favorite dark hunter green, Grand Entrance from the Holiday '08 Warm Eyes Palette.






I used MAC Joyous beauty powder topped with Redhead MSF, and used the 6-piece blush and contour palette to contour.

Apply Urban Decay primer potion all over lid and lower lashline. Using a fluffy brush, apply MAC paint pot in Greenstroke on lid. Using Loew Cornell Maxine's Mop 3/8" brush, apply Waltz foiled on the lid using MAC Charged Water.


Using the same brush, apply Arabesque damp on outer lid.


Using a clean Loew Cornell brush, apply Amarante dry on crease and outer V.


Using the same brush, apply Holy Grail on outer lid and crease, blending into Amarante. Blend using the MAC 224 brush.




Apply MAC Grand Entrance shadow using Sonia Kashuk blender brush.


Apply more Grand Entrance and blend more with the 224. Using the MAC 227 brush, apply MAC Sweet Joy eyeshadow on the browbone.


Apply Indelible gel liner in Endangered to line. Apply Arabesque on inner lower lashline, and Holy Grail on outer lower lashline. Apply Urban Decay 24/7 liner in Zero to tightline and on waterline.


Apply mascara
