OPI Designer Series Raw Granite in Lapis and Pewter Swatches, Review

)

OPI just launched two new nail lacquers from its Designer Series collection.  They are called Designer Series in the Raw Granite formula - beautiful matte textured finish with mineral-like reflections, hence the name Raw Granite.  These are two of the more beautiful textured nail polishes from OPI that I've tried.

Below are my swatches of these two OPI DS Raw Granite nail lacquers, and my thoughts on them.

Nail Stamp Art: OPI Designer Series in Mystery

I am totally loving this long weekend, I hope you are too! Anyways, I just got OPI Designer Series in Mystery which I totally love. I love the dark base with lots of gold, copper, bronze, green, purple holographic glitter.  I am in love with OPI Designer Series.  I've had a few languishing in my Helmer for the past two years, but I've never really paid attention to the ones in my stash until I tried DS Coronation which is such a gorgeous magenta holo.  From then on, I had wanted to get the really pretty ones.  Mystery is one of those DS polishes that really leapt from the shelf and onto my grubby little hands.  I added some oomph by stamping an image from my Chez-Delaney jumbo image plate in H14 using China Glaze in Passion.

Good night/day and I'll be posting more nail polish swatches and nail art soon!

Nail Look: OPI Designer Series in Extravagance

I know OPI DS in Extravagance has been in the market for a long time now, probably two years, but I've never found it in any of my local nail beauty supply stores until a few days ago when I spotted two at ULTA. I grabbed one of them and I am kicking myself for waiting so long to have this. I have a few Designer Series polishes, but they never really made me gush over them as much as I am fawning over Extravagance. It is a beautiful magenta jewel-toned holo that is just gorgeous especially when light hits it. The little multi-hued sparkles just shimmer perfectly under sunlight. I understand how this is such a highly-coveted polish. This is definitely one of my top favorites out of the hundreds I own. If you haven't checked this one out yet, you definitely should. It's breathtaking.
