Pantone 2013 Beauty Trends: Emerald Green

Pantone LLC, the global authority on color, has watched the trends and decided emerald green is set to make a splash. After much polling and research, Pantone feels this shade will make its debut beyond March 17th and into the mainstream, so grab an emerald jacket or dress, or add the shade subtly into your beauty routine.

Gelish Soak-Off Gel Polish ($29.99- $49.99, salons nationwide) gives the green light for manis in the hottest shade of the season! A deep, rich emerald hue, A Runway for the Money transforms fingertips into an on-trend beauty accessory. Aptly named, this shade appeared on the runways of Zac Posen, Marni, Valentino, & Dolce & Gabbana. What's more, with a Gelish Soak-Off Gel Polish manicure, the fashionista on-the-go won't have to worry about her gorgeous nails for up to three weeks!

Dress up ponytails, braids and pigtails with multiple shades of green. Goody Emerald Treasure Ouchless Elastics ($4.50, Target) add subtle color for those just trying out this new trend. Elastics feel comfortable since they don’t have any metal or rubber closures and the smart stretch core makes this elastic longer-lasting then the trend!

Add emerald to eyes with the Too Faced Perfect Eyes Eyeliner ($18, Sephora). The luxe green shade of this eyeliner takes the guesswork out of creating the perfect look. Creamy and long-wearing, this eyeliner glides on with ease for 8+ hours of smudge-proof wear that is perfectly on-trend.
