NYX Caribbean Collection 5 Color Shadow Palette Swatches and Review

I was able to try some NYX 5 Color Shadow Palettes from the Caribbean Collection. I've had some NYX palettes from the Runway Collection and I am loving them, but this is the first time I've tried the 5-shadow palettes.



I Dream Of Antigua













I Dream Of Antigua is the NYX palette Selena Gomez used at the Video Music Awards earlier this year. I was attracted to the dark blue in her eyes, so I was glad to test this palette out. As with every NYX palette I've tried, the shadows are rich, pigmented and apply smoothly on the lids especially with a good base. The quality rivals that of some boutique or department store brands. The only downside I can think of is that the shadows can be a bit crumbly, so a light hand in picking up the product is recommended.


I Dream of Nevis









I Dream of Nevis is a beautiful neutral palette. I am loving the matte vanilla color, the shimmery taupe, and the deep brown. I can think of lovely looks to use using this. As I said, the beautiful shades transfer quite nicely onto skin - pigmented and smooth.

As you can see, the colors are rich, vibrant, smooth. I will be posting a look and tutorial using these palettes soon, so stay tuned. :)
