Summer is definitely upon us, and what better way to celebrate it than to have a healthy, glowy flush on the cheeks?  I am loving corals and pinks for summer, and I had the opportunity to try tarte's tartelette Amazonian clay 12-hour blush in Celebrated.  This color was created to celebrate tarte's 15 years in the beauty industry.

I have probably a dozen or more of these tarte Amazonian clay blushes, and I understand fully why these are cult favorites.  The Amazonian clay formula is truly amazing, and I can say that truthfully.  It has one of the smoothest blush formulas in the market, it stays put all day, they are truly pigmented, and since they are derived from clay along the banks of the Amazonian river, they are natural without harsh ingredients.  I like the fact that the Amazonian clay line has a wide variety of shades and finishes to choose from.

We are all very particular about our skincare, so we slather the best face creams and moisturizers to keep our skin youthful, taut and supple.  However, many of us forget to apply creams on our necks.  I've seen mature people with beautiful, supple faces but their necks looked neglected.  This is the reason why I was really excited to try the tarte maracuja neck treatment - white.

It is a white cream with a nice, refreshing scent.  It also comes in a rather large 50ml/1.7 oz tub.

The cream applies nicely, has a clean, fresh scent that doesn't smell cloying, and it is moisturizing without feeling greasy on the skin.  I apply it sparingly on my neck after I apply my night cream before I go to bed every night.  It does keep the neck area looking and feeling moisturized.

The often-neglected area of the neck is very thin, and it needs lots of care and attention.  

This product from tarte is infused with maracuja™, as well as sodium hyaluronate and algae extracts. tarte claims that this intensely hydrating formula works over time to help promote cell regeneration and skin elasticity while reducing the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and sagging. While I don't have sagging and wrinkles on my neck to actually verify this claim, I can feel that this product is indeed very emollient and moisturizing.
