Nail Look: Revlon Glitz & Glam Nail Polish

Revlon Glitz & Glam is a very pretty pink glitter polish. It's actually one of the prettier glitter polishes that I own. It has dense glitter particles in it, so it's easy to completely coat the entire nailbed with glitter. It may look gritty in the photos, but in reality, it's quite smooth with a topcoat over it. It looks very festive and I would wear this to parties or special events. For some reason, this reminds me of Valentine's so I think this would make a good Valentine's day manicure. Will be swatching more Revlon polishes in the next few days!

Nail Look: Revlon Starry Pink Over Essie Neo Whimsical

I've never fallen in love with a Revlon polish as much as I have with Starry Pink.  To think that I never really liked glitter (but I'm slowly liking it, which is kinda scary).  I think it must be the milky pink beige and silvery white hex glitters that got me.  They look soooo pretty on any light (and maybe even medium or dark) base.  I used Essie nail lacquer in Neo Whimsical for the base, a pretty light lavender.  I also have the Facets of Fuchsia from Revlon, the beautiful magenta hex glitter polish, but I fell in love with Starry Pink first.  I wanna try this over all of my light colored polish.  I think I may need a backup!  I saw the last lone one at my CVS after I bought mine, and it could have been my backup, by oh well.  I have enough polish to last me a lifetime so I really don't want to backup anything as it would be totally outrageous.  It IS gorgeous, though.  What do you think?

Eyeko Nail Polish Swatches and Review: Chi-Chi and Tea Rose

I find Eyeko polishes so adorable. I bought these polishes that came in a limited edition 4-pack called All The Pinks. These pinks are totally up my alley because I am such a girly girl. I applied Tea Rose as a base- it is a very pretty soft pink cream, like an old rose shade. I layered Chi-chi polish over it, which is actually a pink glitter top coat. Super cute!

Eyeko polishes come in smaller bottles but the packaging is just darling. I like the scrapbook-like labeling of the bottles as well.

This bad girl combination stayed on my tips for 5 whole days without chipping. Amazing! I am impressed with the staying power. Of course I used a good base (Orly Bonder over a nail strengthener), and wiped down my nails with pure acetone before polishing to take off natural oils that may compromise the staying power of the polish.
