Even before this review of the NARS Velvet Matte lip pencil, I've always been so into the NARS Velvet Matte lip pencil, especially the darker reds.  NARS Cruella Velvet Matte lip pencil has always been my go-to red lipstick for nights out and special occasions.  The reason?  Just like the rest of the NARS Velvet matte lip pencil line, it goes on really smooth, pigmented, amazingly matte (although some have a very slight sheen to them), but most of all, it stays put even after a meal.  These lip pencils obviously double as a liner, and I like that these are very light and are very travel-friendly.

This is the first of a series of three NARS Velvet matte lip pencil posts.  I have 29 of these gorgeous shades to show you, but these are the first ten.
