The Thakoon for NARS “Our Lips Are Sealed” Facebook contest is now live! To enter to win an exclusive Thakoon-designed scarf (and more!) is upload a photo of your lips and nails onto Instagram using the hashtag #NARSThakoon. On May 29th, you’ll be able to click back to the “NARS FB Exclusives” tab on the NARS Facebook page and vote for your favorite entries.

To celebrate the Thakoon for NARS Nail Collection, NARS is inviting fans to show off their best and brightest beauty looks.

Beginning May 22, fans can enter the “Our Lips Are Sealed” contest on the “NARS FB Exclusives” tab on the NARS Facebook page, www.facebook.com/narscosmetics, for a chance to win a one-of-a-kind scarf designed by Thakoon, inspired by the vibrant colors found in Indian spice markets. Created exclusively for NARS, the scarf features a print last seen on the runway of the designer’s SS2012 collection.

To enter, fans can upload a photo of themselves showing off their favorite NARS lip and nail combinations to Instagram (available on the iPhone and Android), using the hashtag #NARSThakoon. NARS will select five finalists, and fans will vote for their favorites.

As I'd mentioned in a previous entry, Thakoon for NARS is a limited edition collection comprising of six shades designed by Thakoon Panichgul, an American fashion designer of Thai descent. These new lacquers represent bold, vivid shades inspired from Thakoon's Spring 2012 collection and culled from similar hues of the Indian spice market. Fashion and beauty have always gone hand in hand. Now, those hands have the nail polish to match. Introducing the Thakoon for NARS Nail Collection, the brand’s first collaboration with a fashion designer in the nail category.

Already frequent collaborators at New York Fashion Week, founder and creative director Francois Nars has partnered with Thakoon Panichgul to develop a limited edition, six-shade nail collection.

In conceptualizing the shade range, Thakoon was inspired by the vibrant colors found in Indian spice markets. The highly saturated, high-shine shades come in an opaque finish, perfect for spring. Formula is long-wearing, chip-resistant and toluene-, formaldehyde- and DBP-free.

Since his first collection in 2004, the Thailand-born, Nebraska-raised designer’s clothes have graced chic, modern women around the globe, including Jessica Alba, Marion Cotillard, Rachel Bilson, and First Lady Michelle Obama.
