Konad Image Plate Haul and Manicure of the Day: Orly in Charged Up

I received my new plates from wowsocool.com in a record time of 3 business days.  I tried one of my new plates, m62, using Orly in Charged Up, a beautiful deep purple.  I don't know why it looked kinda blue in the pics, but it really is on the purple side, but yes, admittedly, it's a blue-based purple.  It was raining today so I couldn't take pics of this under direct sunlight, so I hope this would do.

I used the bow pattern that looks like a necklace.  I used it with the bow facing my cuticle, so it looks upside down when taken at this position:

Nonetheless, I really like the design.  It's so dainty and yet the base color lends an edgy feel to it.





Here are the different plates I got from Wowsocool: m02, c06 (the lovely Coraline fancy french tip plates), m77, m78, m74, m62, and m26.

ULTA Haul and OPI Silent Mauvie Nail Polish Swatch

Here's my ULTA haul from last weekend when I took advantage of the 20% off entire purchase coupon that I found in the Sunday paper. ULTA rarely does 20% off entire purchases, and I was even happier when I found out that I can also apply it to Urban Decay items. I got the twin potions in Sin and original Primer Potion, the cult favorite eyeshadow bases. I've used Sin and it's a good alternative to the original primer potion.

I also got Ardell lashes that were Buy 1, Get 1 half off, as well as OPI nail lacquers that were Buy 2, Get 1 free. I got Japanese Rose Garden, Silent Mauvie and Mother Road Rose. It's nice to get a free OPI polish on top of the 20% off. These three have very slight shimmer, which is my next best favorite formula next to creams. I love that it's not flat, but very glossy. This is also the formula of my top OPI polish of all time, Color of the Zen-tury.

The L'Oreal liquid liners were also on sale, so I stocked up on my favorite Lineur Intense, as well as the thinner Lineur Intense with a brush tip. Love L'Oreal Liners, they're fast becoming a staple in my daily eye liner application. All my gel and pencil liners are becoming jealous!
