Nicole by OPI New 2013 Nail Lacquer Shades Swatches, Review

(Media sample)

Nicole by OPI launches, among others, four new shades for 2013.  Here are the shades and my thoughts on them.
Nicole by OPI Still Into Pink

Nicole by OPI Still Into Pink is a dazzling hot pink matte.  I think this is the first time that I've ever tried a Nicole by OPI matte lacquer.  I am not much into mattes, so I will definitely apply a shiny topcoat over this.  Nonetheless, this shade is beautiful - it has a definite sheen of silver to it, especially when light hits it.

Nicole by OPI Please Red-Cycle

Nicole by OPI Please Red-Cycle is probably one of my best reds ever!  Since I have tons of nail polish, that says a lot.  It's a beautiful bright red that is just very creamy; and it's pretty much opaque in one coat.  I prefer to apply a second coat to perfect the application.

Nicole by OPI Totally in the Dark

Nicole by OPI Totally in the Dark is a black with some silver glitter mixed into it, creating a nice starry-looking effect on black background.  Really edgy and attractive.

Nicole by OPI Plum to Your Senses!

Nicole by OPI Plum to Your Senses! is an eggplant color that looks great especially on short nails.  It looks very vampy, and since I love plums and purples, this is a winner for me.

All in all, these four Nicole by OPI shades are a mix of summer and fall colors, but obviously, you can wear these shades year-round. I am especially loving Please Red-Cycle, this is my absolute fave among the four.

Nicole by OPI Nail Lacquers and Nail Treatments contain no DBP, Toluene, or Formaldehyde. Nicole by OPI formulas are long-lasting, fast-drying, and salon-quality.

These are available in stores for $7.99 each at retailers including select Walmart, Target, CVS, Rite Aid, Kmart, Kroger, ULTA, H-E-B, Meijer and Duane Reade locations. In Canada, these shades are available for $10.99 each at Shoppers Drug Mart, Walmart Canada, Jean Coutu, Loblaw, and London Drug.
