I'm on a roll on mascaras, eh? ;-) Here's another offering from L'oreal. I was a little hesitant to try this because my holy grail mascara from L'oreal is Voluminous. I wasn't looking for anything more. However, this piqued my interest because of the "collagen" word. If it can do to my lashes what it can do to Melanie Griffith's lips, then I'm all for it. Here's how L'oreal describes the product as printed on the packaging:

My take:
I really didn't get my hopes up that high because as I said in my previous review, I really have short, sparse, thin lashes, so I am resigned to the fact that I will need a miracle mascara to give the illusion of really long, lush lashes for me. This product is by no means a miracle mascara, but it did a decent job of making me look like I have decent lashes. I also didn't think this would deliver because I prefer my mascara to have a mascara primer built in (like those dual-edged products with the base and the actual mascara) in order to help create longer, lusher lashes. This one alone however was pretty decent.
It made my lashes a bit longer but much fatter. I also like that it didn't smudge and had good staying power. However, I believe that 12x the impact is quite an exaggeration. I didn't see my lashes grow lusher twelve times. However, it did a pretty good job. I think this is a runner-up to my favorite L'oreal Voluminous, but the latter is still better, in my opinion.
All in all, this is a good product, just don't expect miracles. I like that it made my lashes a little bit longer and it nicely fattened up those malnourished lashes of mine.
