Skin Authority Ultra Rich Moisturizer Review

 Skin Authority Ultra Rich Moisturizer

Winter is upon us and with the biting cold comes dry, scaly skin.  It is imperative that our winter moisturizer be vastly different from our summer one because our skin's needs change every season.

I've found a really great moisturizer for my dry, scaly winter skin in Skin Authority's Ultra Rich Moisturizer.  I love it so much that it made it to my December 2012 Beauty Favorites Video.  It's a very thick moisturizer that really makes your winter skin feel soft and supple, but amazingly, it does not make the skin look or feel greasy.  See the photos above to see for yourself!

The Skin Authority website describes this products benefits:

The "Earl Grey Tea" of skin care calms redness, soothes irritation, and restores skin's moisture balance, while it evens out skin tone for a brilliant complexion.

Luxuriously creamy daily moisturizing formula deeply saturates skin with the penetrating hydration of Bergamot oil, Cranberry, Grape Seed, Aloe and Shea Butter to restore the hydrolipidic barrier necessary to retain proper moisture and nutrient balance. The anti-inflammatory power of Mango soothes redness and irritation as the Bergamot evens out skin tone. Ideal for dry, dehydrated skin.

As what the company says, this product is indeed quite soothing. It has a cooling effect on the skin, but you can definitely feel the moisturizing properties upon contact on the skin. I love how supple my face is when I wake up in the morning, but it's not to greasy to cause zits on my acne-prone skin.

If you are looking for a winter moisturizer, you might want to look into this Ultra Rich Moisturizer by Skin Authority. The best part is that it is actually quite reasonably priced. It retails for $55.00 per 1.0 oz / 30 ml.

You can purchase the Skin Authority Ultra Rich Moisturizer on the Skin Authority website.
