MAC N Skinfinishes, Cory Minerals and Red Cherry Lashes

I received all these awesome beauty products today, and I can't wait to try them out. I got some cute samples of Cory minerals, and I am amazed at how fast Cory was able to ship these. Their samples are really miniscule, though, as in really tiny baggies with a pinch of minerals. I bought them for 35 cents each so I guess one granule is half a cent. However, I did hear that you need a very very small amount of Cory minerals to get the look that you want, because this is one of the most concentrated mineral makeup formulas available, and that a little goes a really long way. Cory is also known for providing excellent, full coverage in its foundations. It's one of those brands that provide the heaviest coverage, so I placed the blushes to the test. I tapped a really, really small amount onto my swirling dish, took my angled blush brush and swirled in the bowl, and applied. I thought I wouldn't see any color but lo and behold - the tiny granules came out uber-pigmented on my cheeks! I swear, I think I used just three granules of these blushes. I believe I won't be able to finish these samples until after a pretty long while. Wow. The foundations however run really light. I should have read more reviews about ordering a few shades darker than my usual shade before I bought. I am impressed with all the beautiful shades of blushes, though. Aren't they gorgeous? I can't wait to try them out because I've never seen any mineral blush this concentrated before. They're like tiny pigment bombs. They seem small but they explode into beautiful bursts of color when applied.

Cory's free samples - pretty!

And also, before these things get sold out, I got myself MAC's newly-released mineralized skinfinishes in Light Flush and Warmed. They are very pretty in person; I love all my MSFs... I will dish out a full review of MAC's N Collection pretty soon, but for now, enjoy the photos!

Last but not the least, here is my new Red Cherry falsies haul from my neighborhood beauty supply store. Wee! They just restocked their shelves so I got a chockfull of these. They retail for only $1.49 a pop which is cheaper than Ardell and other false lash brands, but they are easy to apply and the variants are gorgeous.

Great haul!
And about Cory: I have read about other people who had the experience with the small amount of product you need to apply.
Haven't ordered from them yet, but it seems like you get a lot of product (considering the high pigmentation) for your money...
You would make someone really happy if you could do some swatches or fotd with their mica-free blushes :)
I am allergic to mica, so I can't use a lot of MMU :(

please keep posting, I love reading your blog!

Thanks pink! =) I will definitely try to swatch the blushes. I got 30 or so samples so it might take a while but I will definitely try. These are really highly pigmented mica-free blushes, so if you are allergic to them, this might be for you. Thanks for visiting!

Hello.

I love all the lashes you purchased. I've never heard of Red Cherry Brand before so I googled it and I can only find it on ebay. What beauty supply store did you get your purchase?
