Zoya Fall 2017 Sophisticates Collection Swatches, Review

Press Sample

Fall is definitely upon us, so Zoya comes up with these fall shades from their Zoya collection Zoya Fall 2017 Sophisticates.  Here are my swatches of the 12 rich shades from this collection, and my thoughts on these.

Zoya Gal

Zoya Gal is a metallic gold.  It's described as a smoky iridescent peridot gold shimmer.  I like the shift in this polish- shades shift depending on the angle.

Zoya Padma is described as a deep vermillon cream.  I describe it as more of a medium to deep pink cream.

Zoya Beth is one of my favorites from this collection.  Unfortunately, though, I received the bottle broken, so I had to order it, and that is partly the reason why this review post is a bit late.  Nonetheless, the wait is worth it.  It is such a beautiful champagne metallic that is perfect for any occasion.

Zoya Joni is a rich creamy mauve.  One of my favorites also from this collection.  Some may see this as a mom or grandma color, but not me!  This is also a versatile shade that is perfect for everyday.

Zoya McKenna

I didn't expect to like Zoya McKenna so much, but I do.  It is a cream almond color with flecks of shimmer.  It looks very clean and feminine on the nails.

Zoya Tabitha is a beautiful deep hunter green shimmer.  Probably my top fave from this collection.

Zoya Hadley is an inky blue cream.  It's the perfect fall color if you don't want the usual reds.

Zoya Yvonne

Zoya Yvonne

Zoya Yvonne is described as a rich bordeaux red cream.  It's not a very common shade of red which I like.

Zoya Mona

Zoya Mona is an oxblood cream, but Zoya describes it as a rich burgundy plum cream.  I like this one better than Yvonne, but both are very pretty.

Zoya Elaine is the darkest shade in this collection.  It is described as a dark umber brown cream.

Zoya Presley is again one of the three mauves in this collection.  This is described as mauve taupe cream.  This looks very clean and pretty on the nails.

Hera is the last mauve in the collection, a pretty pinkish mauve cream.  As you can see, I like my mauves stamped, and they make really nice year-round manicure colors.

All in all, I was a bit surprised that this collection has a lot of mauves and reds, but that's fine since I like these colors.  I am particularly drawn to Tabitha, Presley, Mona, Beth and McKenna.  You can purchase these colors at the Zoya website for $10 each.
