Essence XXXL Shine Lipgloss in Frosted Pink and Metal Shine Swatches, Review

As I'd mentioned in my previous post, I was able to try the Essence Cosmetics Longlasting Lipsticks, and I wrote my thoughts about them.  This time, it's all about the Essence XXXL Shine Lipgloss.

Essence XXXL Shine Lipgloss in Metal Shine

I was able to try the two newer shades from their line, the Essence XXXL Shine Lipgloss in Frosted Pink and Metal Shine.  They are on the metallic and frosty side, as their names suggest.  I am not much a fan Frosted Pink, as the frostiness sometimes make it look dated, but I do like the bronzey champagne look of Metal Shine.  It gives a really nice luscious sheen on the lips.

Staying power is not that long, as most lip glosses are, just because they tend to glide off the lips pretty easily especially during a meal.  I don't mind reapplying, though, because I like the look and feel of freshly applied lip products.

All in all these are great value for the price, because you can't beat the price of $2.49 a pop.  Essence is available at retailers like ULTA and the Essence website at www.essence-cosmetics.com.
