tarte Beauty Without Boundaries 8-Pc Set

I was excited to try the tarte Beauty Without Boundaries 8-pc Set which is going to be featured on September 24th as QVC and QVC.com's Today's Special Value.

Mark your calendars—the entire set (consisting of eight pieces) will sell for under $60 for one day only—Tuesday, September 24.  As I write, it's on 2-easy payments of $29.98, plus shipping and handling!

I was able to test this kit, and I can really say that as always, tarte makes completely worth-your-money kits that not only have some of the best complexion enhancers and correctors from the brand, this kit in particular also has some of the best tools (makeup brushes) to help the consumer create the most flawless face.

Here are my thoughts on the tarte Beauty Without Boundaries 8-Pc Set:

tarte Double-Ended Bamboo Brush

I am so in love with this bamboo brush.  Tarte makes sure that their tools and products are all-natural and eco-friendly and sustainable, and what can be more sustainable than bamboo?  This double-ended bamboo brush is great to apply both your BB cream or other liquid, cream or powder products.  I use the flat top side for a flawless, seamless application of the tarte BB Tinted Treatment 12-hour primer.  For hard to reach areas, I apply product like liquid foundation using the rounded end, which I believe is made of taklon hair.

tarte BB Tinted Treatment 12-hour primer Broad Spectrum SPF 30 in Medium

tarte BB Tinted Treatment 12-hour primer Broad Spectrum SPF 30 in Medium

As its name suggests, the tarte BB Tinted Treatment 12-hour primer Broad Spectrum SPF 30 can be used as a primer before the application of liquid, cream or powder foundation.  It evens the skintone, diminishes the appearance of pores and blemishes, and just basically preps the skin for the application of makeup.  I love the fact that this has SPF30, as I don't wear sunscreen lower than SPF30.  I like how it can be a sunscreen, moisturizer, light foundation and primer in one.  This does not fully cover my blemishes, so I apply this mostly as a primer instead of my main foundation.  However, I love that I can also use this as my only face product if I need to slap on something real quick before heading out the door.

tarte Dual-Sided Diffuser Bamboo Concealer Brush

The tarte Dual-Sided Diffuser Bamboo Concealer Brush is such an innovative brush!  I have not seen anything like this, although MAC did have a brush that has different-colored hairs on each side, but each of the tarte Dual-Sided Diffuser Bamboo Concealer Brush's sides has their own purpose.

This brush is created to go in tandem with the BB tinted undereye corrector.  Use the lighter side of the brush to and apply to the undereye area.  Use the darker side to smooth and blend for a flawless, crease-less finish.  The lighter side has a sort of fluffier texture, that deposits just the tiniest amount of product to prevent a mask-like appearance or to prevent creasing.  The darker side has taklon hairs that can smooth and blend the corrector for a seamless finish.

tarte LipSurgence Power Pigment in Awakening

I was pleasantly surprised with the tarte LipSurgence Power Pigment in Awakening.  I thought that like some of the lip crayons that I've tried, this would go on sheer (and I am not a fan of very sheer lip products).  I was amazed at how creamy and richly pigmented this product is!  The tarte LipSurgence can double as a lip pencil as well.  I love how versatile this product is.

tarte Inner Rim Liner

Okay, hands down, this tarte Inner Rim Liner has got to be one of the creamiest, darkest, most pigmented liners that I've tried.  It does go so well on the inner rim of the eye!  I am truly amazed at how it left no light spots under my lashline, making my lashes look full and lush.  It also didn't mess up my contact lens, which is HUGE plus for me!

tarte Lights, Camera, Flashes

If any of you have tried the tarte classic mascara called Lights, Camera, Lashes, this mascara called Lights, Camera, Flashes is better, in my opinion. It has this really dark pigment that truly defines my sparse lashes. It also lengthens the shortest lashes on earth (mine!). I like the plastic head because it defines and volumizes my lashes without making them look clumpy.

Just how pretty is this colorful fabric bag?  You'll get this huge makeup bag to hold all these tarte products, as well some other makeup essentials.  This is big enough for all your beauty essentials for a weekend getaway.

tarte BB Tinted Undereye Corrector

the tarte BB Tinted Undereye Corrector is more of a salmon color than yellow-hued, because salmon color counteracts or neutralizes the dark blue undereye circles.  This has a very thin but tacky consistency- thin to prevent creasing on the undereye area, but tacky to make it budge-proof.  tarte claims that this multi-tasking, nutrient-rich concealer evens skin tone instantly, while working over time to reduce the appearance of wrinkles.  I have not tried this product long enough to vouch for that claim, but I do like how the salmon color helped to conceal my under eye circles.  I did add a little bit to tarte Amazonian clay concealer on my undereye area, because the Medium-Tan shade of the Undereye Corrector is a bit too dark for my skintone.  I would get a lighter shade, just because I am amazed at how creamy it glides on the undereye area.

Wearing tarte BB Tinted Treatment 12-Hour Primer SPF30 in Light (the swatches above are in Medium, but I used Light in this photo because I previously got Light), Waterproof 12-hr Inner Rim Liner on tightline, Lights, Camera Flashes to fuse false and real lashes together, and LipSurgence Power Pigment in Awakening on lips.

All in all, I am so impressed with this tarte Beauty Without Boundaries 8-Pc Set.  As I said, today and tomorrow, September 24, 2013, you can get all these for less than $60, plus shipping and handling on QVC.com.  QVC Item number for this product is A236677.

I would gladly pay $60 for the two (technically three because of the dual-ended one) brushes, the BB Tinted Treatment 12-hour Primer, and the Undereye Corrector. On top of these, they included three more outstanding products- the Lights, Camera, Flashes, the LipSurgence in Awakening, and the Inner Rim Liner. Honestly, I would usually post Pros and Cons about a product, but I don't think I can find any con to this set, except that maybe if you need more coverage, you might have to layer a foundation on top of the BB Tinted Treatment 12-hour Primer. Honestly, though, it's actually marketed more as a primer than anything else, hence the name.

So what are you waiting for? Hurry, time's running out! As I said, it's on 2 easy payments of $29.98 right now!
