Christina Aguilera Red Sin Eau de Parfum Review

I've been wearing the Christina Aguilera Red Sin Eau de Parfum starting spring this year, but this is definitely a year-round type of scent. Specifically, it is a night-time scent because it's quite heavy and musky. The scent is an obviously fruity one, but it's not a daytime girly scent. The top notes are definitely red apple and cinnamon. The middle note is red cyclamen, and base notes are musk, sandalwood and red ginger. The musk is especially apparent, so as I said, this is best worn at night.

I have the original Christina Aguilera fragrance in Royal Desire, but I definitely prefer Red Sin over the former. Royal Desire has an overpowering powdery scent that I can't take. Red Sin is definitely more sophisticated, more feminine. The scent is quite sexy, something you spritz behind your ears on a special dinner date. I wouldn't recommend this as an everyday scent, as it is a rather heavy scent that can get quite cloying. However, if you prefer a sexy, femme fatale scent for your nights out, this is for you.

All in all, this is a nice scent for evenings if you prefer a musky, fruity scent (although to me, the base notes overpower the top notes). This is a very sensuous fragrance, and definitely not a sweet little girl perfume.

The Christina Aguilera Red Sin Eau de Parfum retails for $47 for the 50 ml/1.6 fl. oz bottle, and $37 for the 1 fl. oz. bottle.
