I was all stoked about the new Milani Limited Edition blush collection called Coming Up Roses. I love the rose-embossed feature of the blush, as well as the very pretty shades. The embossed roses looked like some of the department store blushes I've seen and tried. It's a nice treat that we can get this at the drugstore!
Swatches:
I have the Milani Coming Up Roses blush in 01 Romantic Rose. As you can see in the swatches, it is mostly a matte/satin finish. This is great for those who are not really into shimmers, but I did add a highlighter on my cheeks to gives some dimension to the look.
The finish is matte, but it is not splotchy or patchy on the skin. It was quite pigmented, and it deposits product smoothly on the cheeks. I really like the Romantic Rose shade- a neutral pink shade, but I do see a little bit of coral in it.
This collection will be available during the month of August at select CVS, Walgreens, Meijer and Fred Meyer stores. It will also be available on www.milanicosmetics.com! What shades are you eyeing?
