Summer is definitely upon us, and what better way to spruce up your nails than wearing neon colors on your nails! I was able to try two mini neon nail polish collections from Nicole by OPI. They both come with this white base that you apply underneath the nail polish, so that the neon colors truly pop.

Nicole by OPI Notorious Neons has the following shades: Orange Neon, Fuchsia Neon, Green Neon. They are your typical primary color shades and are quite bright and attention-grabbing, especially underneath the white base. The names of the colors are pretty straightforward themselves, so there is no need to discuss the shades in detail.

Glitter Nail Polish over Nicole by OPI Scandalous Neons: Blue Neon, Pink Neon, Purple Neon
Nicole by OPI Scandalous Neons mini collection has the following shades: Blue Neon, Pink Neon, Purple Neon. As you can see in the above photo, they are great both to wear by themselves or as bases for glitter topcoats, as the neon colors truly attract attention and showcase any glitter applied on top of them.
The only downside that I can think of is that the brushes are too small to apply the product properly. I had a hard time applying the shades as I am not used to mini-brushes. The white base also tends to be a bit streaky, so make sure that you apply it evenly. Two coats of the white base is preferable for a truly even-looking white.
All in all, if you like a travel-friendly set, I recommend trying out these mini neon polish collections by Nicole by OPI. If you are not into minis like I am, you might want to wait for a full-size version, as I had a hard time applying these with the mini-brush. The shades themselves are pretty and bright, and look a lot better with a topcoat applied.
