NARS SPRING 2013 COLOR COLLECTION CAMPAIGN


For the Spring 2013 Color Collection, Founder and Creative Director François Nars chose to photograph iconic model Stella Tennant, renowned for her bold style and irreverent beauty. Tennant’s confident, almost cheeky attitude leaps through the lens for images that are at once personal and intense.

ABOUT STELLA:

Tennant rose to prominence in the modeling world in the early 1990s, attracting the attention of photographers such as Steven Meisel and Bruce Weber with her edgy, androgynous look. She has covered prestigious fashion magazines, including French, British, and Italian Vogue, as well as Harper's Bazaar, and i-D.

She has been the face of Chanel, serving as Karl Lagerfeld’s muse for a time, and appeared in advertising campaigns for designers including Calvin Klein, Hermès, and Burberry.

Tennant married French photographer David Lasnet in her home town of Oxnam, Scotland in 1999. They have four children.
