bareMinerals Remix Collection: READY Shadow 4.0 in The Next Big Thing and The Wild Thing Swatches, Review

I recently made a Video Review on the bareMinerals Remix Collection, but I promised a written review with clear swatches, so here they are.  I have several of other items from the collection that I will be reviewing in separate entries, namely the Buxom Divine Goddess Luminizer, Loud & Clear Lip Sheers and READY blushes and the mascaras, but for now, we shall revel in the metallic aqua packaging of the Remix READY Eyeshadow 4.0 collection.

I am in love with the bareMinerals READY shadows.  Every time I see new shades of READY shadows, I am amazed with the pigmentation, easy application, and buttery glide on the skin.  I really believe that this brand of shadows is such an underrated brand.  I hope more and more people get to discover the great quality of these shadows.

The bareMinerals Remix collection features 4.0 shadows in The Next Big Thing and The Wild Thing.  The first palette is a quad composed of Rising Star, a light shimmery gold, Smash Hit, a satiny coral, Hoopla, a warm, bronzy gold and Ensemble, a matte dark plum with subtle fuchsia flecks.  I love the pigmentation of these shades.  As I'd mentioned, they are buttery and glide easily on the skin.  The only downside to these shadows is that they are very soft and crumble easily because of the buttery formula.    I cracked Smash Hit as you can see in my bareMinerals Remix Video Review.   I definitely recommend that you handle these quads with care.

The bareMinerals READY Shadow 4.0 in The Wild Thing is my favorite quad of the two.  It features a really deep jewel-tone blue (Controversy), a beautiful olive green (Elitist), a springy chartreuse green (Icon) and a shimmery sage green (Sensational).  I love that the shades in these quad are mostly greens, as greens really flatter brown eyes.  As you can see in the swatches, the colors are rich and quite pigmented.  I especially love Controversy, followed by Elitist and Icon.

All in all, I am a fan of the bareMinerals READY eye shadows.  If you are looking for pigmented, smooth shadows that glide like a dream on the lids, you have got to at least try this brand.  You will be quite (pleasantly) surprised.

I will be featuring these quads in a future look/tutorial, so stay tuned!

Note: Media sample was provided by a representative of the brand for consideration.  All opinions are completely mine.

I have The Wild Thing and love it :) It's great with my blue-green eyes. That doesn't stop me from lusting after the Next Big Thing! Those shades are pretty, too.
