Dermablend Smooth Indulgence SPF20 Foundation Look and Review

I've always loved my BB creams and mineral foundation for a light, natural coverage for everyday use.  However, there are days when we want to cover up rosacea, redness, imperfections that impede our quest for a flawless canvas for our makeup.

I like to use medium to full coverage foundations for these types of problems. I was able to try the Dermablend Smooth Indulgence Foundation SPF20 and it worked great in hiding blemishes and redness for a seamless look. The company says it's a medium coverage foundation, but I feel that it is more of a full coverage one. I use a damp makeup sponge to make the finish look more natural and prevent it from looking cakey.

Wearing Dermablend Smooth Indulgence Foundation in Sand Beige

I love the smooth, even finish. I thought it would be a very full-coverage foundation, but I was pleasantly surprised to find out that it looked quite natural and smooth. It efficiently covered some hyperpigmentation and uneven skintone. I also think it held up well in the heat and humidity. Since colder weather is here, this is also good for fall and winter because it did not dry out my skin, and staying power is great. The only thing I would change is probably my shade. I think Sand Beige is my winter shade, but it is a tad too light for summer and fall.

All in all, I would use Dermablend Smooth Indulgence Foundation for those special occasions when I want my skin to look flawless and my makeup seamless. It also lasts the whole day without retouching my face, so this is a great all-day foundation as well. Be sure to apply in light layers to avoid a heavy mask of foundation. I recommend using a damp makeup sponge to apply this product for a smooth, natural coverage.
