Jesse's Girl Nail Color in Crush, Wild Thing and Glee Swatches, Review

I don't own a lot of Jesse's Girl nail polishes because I don't live near a Rite Aid. However, I've been loving the shades I see online, and I was glad to try some of the polishes. What I like about these lacquers is that they're fairly inexpensive. You can get them for $3.99, and the oddly shaped bottle is cute too. Aside from this amazing glitter topcoat called Firefly that I wrote about in a separate entry, here are the other nail lacquers from Jesse's Girl that I was able to try.

Jesse's Girl Crush

Crush is a nice, vibrant pumpkin orange cream. This reminds me of Revlon Colorstay Longwear Nail Color in Apricot, but a few bucks cheaper.

Wild Thing

Wild Thing is a neon purple. This is really such a bright hue in real life, but very pretty. The only thing I don't like with this polish is that it dries matte, so if you want a really shiny finish, don't forget to top this off with a high-shine top coat.

Glee

Glee is beautiful, a sparkly turquoise with fine glitter similar to that of Jesse's Girl Firefly. This is a perfect poolside color.

All in all, I am really liking the shades I was able to try from Jesse's Girl. I liked the finishes except that of Wild Thing which dried matte, which is a characteristic of many neon polishes. The formula didn't give me any streaking problems, nor was it too runny or too thick. I also didn't have much difficulty in application - no pooling around the cuticles or anything like that. For the price, this nail polish line is a pretty good deal.

You can purchase Jesse's Girl polishes at all Rite Aid stores or on the Jesse's Girl website.
