Become Age Resistant Hydration Serum Review

I was able to try a product from the Become Beauty line. It is their Age Resistant Hydration Serum which was an unusual product when I first tried it, just because it felt more like a serum (as the name implies) rather than a moisturizer. The company claims that this oil-free formula delivers high volumes of the 'super-hydrator' Sodium Hyaluronate to the dermal layers, improving moisture retention and promoting dewy, youthful-looking skin.

First of all, I really like the packaging. The attractive red pump looks very chic and classy. The main ingredient of this product is Sodium Hyaluronate. It infuses the skin with moisture and makes it supple and plump again when harsh environmental factors dehydrate the skin.

As you can see, it has the texture and consistency of a typical serum, but it's a more moisturizing serum. It is best used before application of day or night cream, so it's like an extra nourishment of moisture for your skin.

I use this typically at night before I apply my prescription-strength retinoids, and before I apply my complexion oil or night cream. This Hydration Serum makes my skin a lot more moisturized prior to my application of retinoids that are known to make skin dry and peel. This Hydration Serum minimizes the appearance of dry patches on my skin during this peeling process.

I am really liking this serum because I can use it in conjunction with my retinoid regimen and my favorite day or night cream, and it works quite well with these skincare staples. I usually use a Vitamin C serum prior to retinoids and my night cream, but now I alternate Vitamin C serum and the Hydration Serum.  This regimen works best on my skin, because I get both my Vitamin C and my Sodium Hyaluronate.

You can purchase this on the Become Beauty website for $62 each (40 ml/1.4 fl. oz).
