Elizabeth Grant Vitamin C Eye Radiance Cream Review

I am a firm believer of Vitamin C in topical treatments. Vitamin C is an antioxidant that has been clinically proven to improve the appearance of sun-damaged skin, reduce inflammation and hyper-pigmentation, and promote collagen production, among others. This is the reason why Vitamin C is a staple in my daily skincare regimen. I've never tried an eye cream that is also Vitamin C-based, until now.

I was able to try the Elizabeth Grant Vitamin C Eye Radiance Cream that is touted to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and make the eye area appear brighter and younger looking. According to Elizabeth Grant's website, it has the following active ingredients:

Torricelumn™: Elizabeth Grant's superior moisturizing compound

Vitamin C: anti-oxidant that reduces wrinkles, protects against skin-damaging free radicals

Emblica from the Indian Gooseberry tree: reputed to have the highest content of Vitamin C of any natural plant

It feels very refreshing upon contact to the skin, most likely because of the acid component. I thankfully don't have crow's feet yet (hopefully not in a long while), so I can't vouch for the company's claim that this product reduces the appearance of wrinkles. It does however feel moisturizing and makes the area look brighter and feel supple.

I am just glad that I don't just have a Vitamin C-based product for my face, I also have a Vitamin C-infused eye cream. If you know the benefits of Vitamin C to your skin, it will also be one of your skincare staples. I only use a few tried and tested anti-aging products, and two of them are Vitamin C and prescription-strength retinoids. Those are some of the very few products that I feel are really working on my skin in terms of anti-aging.

If you want a Vitamin C based eye cream, Elizabeth Grant's is a good choice, not only because of the ingredients, but the packaging is really pretty, and for $25 a pop, it's not going to hurt your wallet.
