Zoya Touch Collection Swatches and Review

Zoya comes up with three nude polishes in the new Zoya Touch collection. It features nudes from pale latte beige to a darker nudish mauve. Here are some swatches and thoughts on this new collection. I did three coats for all swatches.

Minka is described as a latte beige cream with a metallic kiss. I am not sure I am a fan of the yellow tones because it looks weird on my warm skintone for some reason. If you like metallic sheen, this is for you. It is not an outright metallic finish, but it does have some glimmer.

Shay is described as "a desert rose sand beige cream with a metallic kiss". I like this better than Minka because although it is still in the beige family (with yellow undertones), the rose shade makes it a bit more forgiving on my skintone.

Pandora is my favorite of the three. It is a mauve beige cream with a metallic sheen. I love the rosey mauve tone because I think it looks good on me.

The formula of these is okay, smooth and went over the nails without streaking; I didn't have a hard time applying them. I have to say that if you don't like metallic sheens, you can skip these as they do have a slight metallic look (hence the word "kiss" in the description - it's not an all-out saturated metallic sheen, but just a metallic glimmer of sorts).

Some people don't like the metallic sheen as they look kinda frosty to them, but upon closer inspection, they are not really the '80s kind of cringe-worthy frost. It gives a nice sheen on the nails which distinguishes it from the cream formula, but it still applies and behaves like a cream. I probably recommend Pandora and Shay if you have warm skintones. If I can only get one, I choose Pandora.

Pros: good application, neutrals but with a slight twist

Cons: people who do not like neutrals or metallic sheens, stay away
