Elizabeth Arden's New Pretty Scent Review

Elizabeth Arden's Pretty fragrance just got even prettier.
Just in time for the holidays, the feminine floral fragrance is now available in a special limited flower strewn bottle.
The new packaging and exclusive fragrance, featuring Petalia™, are perfect for an every day dose of pretty.

I was given a chance to try Elizabeth Arden's Pretty fragrance. It is now in a revamped, uber feminine bottle, but the fragrance remains the same - light, earthy floral with a dose of citrus notes. Here is the lowdown on the notes:

Fragrance Notes:
Top Notes: Italian Mandarin ORPUR™, Orange Blossom, Peach Nectar
Mid Notes: Petalia, Star Jasmine, Pink Iris, White Peony
Base Notes: Fluffy Musk, Jacaranda Wood, Creamy Amber

I like that it is in the citrusy-floral family, because citrus notes are right up my alley. I can envision wearing this on a date on warm, balmy night. I can also imagine that I am wearing this for holiday parties as this is light and unobtrusive, not cloying at all. This can also be a good office fragrance because it is not overpowering, and will not alienate you from your co-workers.

The citrusy notes are at the forefront of the fragrance, but dries into a woodsy floral scent that is clean yet sexy. I know a lot of my friends prefer and use this kind of fragrance - the floral-citrus-woodsy scent. This is similar to a some fragrances I have, so I know this is also something that many women would prefer. It doesn't deviate from the usual fragrances of the modern career woman, and yet gives a freshness to the quintessential floral scent.

Pretty Elizabeth Arden Parfum Spray Limited Edition ($59.50, 1.7 fl. oz.) is available for a limited time at fine department stores nationwide.
