Coral and Brown Eye Look and Tutorial Using MAC Leopard Luxe Eye Shadow Palette

Wild By Nature, Notoriety
Style Predator, Furiously Fabulous

Here is a look featuring several products from the MAC Fabulous Feline collection, including the Leopard Luxe palette. This is a pretty palette especially if you don't have colors similar to these. Furiously Fabulous is a beautiful frosted warm black that many are falling in love with because it applies like a dream and the color is really pretty. However, it looks more like a soft brown-black than a straight black to my eyes, hence the title of this entry. I also used Notoriety, a dirty brown with gold pearl in the Velvet formula, and Style Predator, a frosted midtone yellow-orange that worked as my main lid color for this look.

Marked For Glamour

I also used my favorite MAC Superslick liquid eye liner, Marked For Glamour, a metallic grey that is very appealing.

I used Utterly Game blush (right) as well.

For the lips, I used Wildly Refined (bottom-most) over NYX lipstick in Frappucino and MAC Jazzed lipstick.

Here are some pictures. All eye products MAC unless otherwise noted.

I don't know what happened to the first few eye pictures I took, but I lost them. Suffice it to say that I used Urban Decay primer potion in Sin as base, Coral Crepe paint pot on the lid, followed by Style Predator on the lid applied with the 239 brush. I also used Notoriety applied with the Sonia Kashuk eye crease brush on the outer V.

Using the same Sonia Kashuk brush, apply a tiny bit of Furiously Fabulous on the outer lid.  Blend with the 224 brush.

Using the Essence of Beauty big shader brush, apply Manila Paper on browbone (from the Colour 4 quad).  Apply Marked For Glamour Superslick liquid liner on upper lashline.

Using the Coastal Scents mini-detail brush, apply Style Predator on inner lower lashline and Notoriety on outer lower lashline.  Tightline using Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-on pencil in Zero, and apply Chromagraphic pencil in NW25/NC30 on waterline.  Apply mascara.

Well I used my Marked For Glamour eyeliner yesterday and I found the felt tip very sharp and almost painful to use! I don't know if it's like those new Dazzleglass wands that come all sharp and rigid and you need to bend it to make it softer. Was yours like that when it came out of the packaging?

Anyway, using Marked For Glamour and coral shadows is a good idea, but I really don't know how you pull off corals and bronzes without looking tired. I have almost the same skintone as you do, but I simply can't wear corals, bronzes and pinks.
