Misikko Flat Iron Review

I was given the opportunity to try a flat iron from Misikko called Hana Professional flat iron. It feels and looks expensive and hi-end, maybe because it has ceramic and tourmaline plates that give high-shine finish to the hair. This is definitely not one of your typical drugstore flat irons because it has quality features like Nano silver, nano titanium, & nano titanium oxide particles that remove chemicals, sterilize bacteria & add shine.

I had been a bit skeptical about using a flat iron on my short, limp hair because I didn't need to straighten it since I already have stick-straight, baby-fine hair. However, I was told that flat irons are just as great as (if not better than) curling irons in producing curls and giving soft, shiny, volumized texture to your tresses. I even watched a few videos on YouTube on how to curl your hair using a flat iron, so I decided to try it anyway.







First of all, I just have to comment about the design and packaging of the product.  I was impressed because it certainly did look high-end to me.  It has a sleek design with ceramic and tourmaline plates.  It even has its own heat-proof silicone mat, professional looking pouch, and, if the pouch is not good enough, it even has its own tin case.








I even got a Hana Shine Shield product, with a little booklet of instructions on how to operate the gadget. I must say I was impressed. Best of all, there is a two-year warranty! I wasn't surprised, therefore, when this product has been named Best Flat Iron by Misikko.

MY TAKE: Even though I have fine, short hair, I had to try this product. It heated up pretty quick and I liked how I was able to volumize my hair by creating curls. I liked how I can lay the product on the heat-proof silicone mat without worrying about the surface while I fix or style my hair. The leather pouch was also a convenient accessory.

My hair is too short to show the results for you guys, so I got a model to show how this flat iron works on someone who has coarse, frizzy hair:



She loved how easy it was to use the product, and she told me that the Hana flat iron was a lot better than her own flat iron. She was quite impressed with the results. She's also glad that she can use the same product to curl her hair just like a curling iron would.

All in all, the Hana Flat Iron from Misikko is really a high-end product that gives quality, professional results. The 2-year warranty ain't bad at all.
