Zoya Nail Polish Exchange Haul

Finally, my Zoya exchange haul has arrived! I posted in a previous entry about the Zoya Exchange, where they will accept any old polish, and they will replace it with any Zoya nail polish, bottle for bottle. So I sent in 32 old polishes (nail lacquers, top coats, Konad polishes, base coats, even empty polish bottles), and they replaced them with 32 Zoya polishes of my choice. I paid $3.50 per bottle (they say it's for shipping, but that would be too much to pay for shipping; I would say I bought these Zoyas at a discounted price). I had been lemming for Zoyas for a long time now, but I was waiting for a big sale or something like this to come around. And now that it has, I am pretty content with what I have right now. No major polish hauls for a long time for me!

My Zoya exchange haul - 32 new Zoyas in exchange for 32 old nail polishes.

All my Zoyas - 58 total

So pretty! I can stare at them all day. They look like candy to me. lol

My Zoyas in my last available Helmer drawer. My Helmer is now bursting at the seams. =(

Up next? You guessed it - swatches! Stay tuned!

awesome haul! I keep going back and forth about doing the Zoya exchange, on one hand its awesome they are offering it on the other hand $3.50 a bottle for "shipping" is a more than I would like to pay.

Oh so pretty. I am soooo jealous. I think I would stare at my stash all day like candy if I have those too. I am slowly building my Zoya polish collection. I wish we have polish exchanges like that here in the Philippines too. I would so hoard. :-)

Wow, you have so many! I switched out 7 polishes and love them all, then I won Charla from their Pixie Prize so I currently own eight of them :)

Jen- I know, I was pretty iffy about it at first. But I figured I would be spending twice that amount if I bought it at full price, so I grabbed this chance. I don't regret it =)

Kessa Thea- I know, right, it would be a blast! Like I told one girl in the Philippines, though, it's cheaper to just buy the Zoya products that ship old polishes for the exchange because just the shipping cost would probably cost more than just buying the product itself.

Scientific Housewife- Charla is my top favorite along with Malia! Enjoy your Zoyas!

Shen- how are you? Have you tried doing your nails on a chair with an arm rest? It helps a lot to control my hands and arms and it steadies the whole process. =)

Lelila - Weee, it's available there! php380 is pretty reasonable, right? That's great to know =)

ps. Shades you're right about justifying the expense. I did a swap myself and didn't feel bad about paying $3.50 per bottle when I considered the fact that freakin' drugstore polish like Sally Hansen & Borghese are just under $8 a bottle. Eeek that's crazy for drugstore polish! I'll gladly pay $3.50 a bottle for innovative colors and salon quality/performance polish :) Soo excited and anxious to see your swatches. I feel like a kid in your candy store. lol - Sindi

How did you ship them? I've got about twenty I'd like to swap, but I'm trying to figure out the cheapest way to ship.
