Bare Escentuals Shadow and MAC Pigment Haul

I have had this for a while now but it's only now that I'm blogging about it. I really love Bare Escentuals glimmer and glimpse mineral shadows. These have amazing pigmentation and don't need to be foiled to achieve great color pay-off. A good base is all you need for these to stay long on the lids, and they have not creased on me yet. I got these brand-new from a lady who has a bajillion Bare Escentuals shadows. Her collection is jaw-dropping! It's amazing that if there are MAC fan forums and sites where members talk about MAC products, there are also Bare Escentuals mineral makeup addicts who talk about the latest QVC eye shadow kit from BE. Bare Escentuals is somewhat like MAC in the sense that it churns out countless of limited edition blushes, eyeshadows and lipsticks, and its cult followers are only too happy to gobble everything up. It's better than MAC in a sense though because BE comes in loose minerals, so the BE fans get to share their loot via sample swapping. I got brand-new full sizes, though, because the colors are gorgeous and I know I will use these again and again:

The following swatches were applied dry without a base:

For years (yes, years), I had been lemming for Pussycat glimmer. I have a sample but I have not used it that much because I didn't want to run out of it. I am glad I have a full size jar now. The amazing color and smooth application did me in.

Aren't they gorgeous? I will be making looks using these pretty soon.

I also got MAC Blue pigment recently. It is a pretty aqua blue that is very vibrant. I don't normally wear blue shadows, but these would be a great liner or even to just accentuate certain areas of the eyes especially for summer.
