Warm Colors, Meow Feliners and MAC Moonbathe Blushes

I decided to wear warm, bronzey colors today to match the simmering summer heat. I also tried Meow's Feliner in Puddy Tat and I love the color; it is truly a medium plum/wine with metallic copper and silver sparkle that the website described. I just don't feel the need to get a full-size of this as this is similar to my Bare Escentuals liner shadow (or is it shadow liner?) in Black Ruby. Puddy Tat is beautiful, though, and would go prettily with smokey eyes or even warm neutrals. I love this, really; it's my second favorite next to Sweaty Paws Feliner.

I also tried my Lure Beauty blush in Rosemarie and I was pleasantly surprised at how pigmented, rich and long-lasting it was. Just a little goes a long way. The color likewise perked up my complexion, and is also a beautiful warm color that went well with the other colors I used for this look.

In my previous entry, I mentioned that I would test the MAC Moonbathe collection blushes at the counter to determine if I have blushes similar to these. I tried them and although After Dusk is somewhat akin to Plum Foolery, they are not exactly deadringers for each other unlike Saturnal and Sable Wrap eyeshadows. As for Other Wordly, suffice it to say that I don't have any bronzey-gold blush in my makeup stash, and the color is definitely gorgeous, unique and truly perfect for summer. I returned Saturnal and exchanged it for these blushes. That's it. I'm so over Moonbathe.

Aileen, I love the Bronzey look on you. Girl you are so clever; you know just how to pull off any look with your awesome colour coordinating techniques. I'm falling in love with Meow's feliners too.....I have a few samples of sweaty paws, cat o nine tails and cat burglar. I can't wait to play with them...:)

Aww, thank you! =) Feliners are some of the best mineral liners I've ever tried. Enjoy your Meow haul and thanks for dropping by!
