Zoya Awaken collection

I was able to try the new spring color of Zoya for 2014 called the Awaken collection.  It's a bunch of beautiful springy shades with pretty flashes of shimmer.  The photo above speaks just how springy the entire collection is.

Below are my swatches and my thoughts on the new Zoya Awaken collection.

 Zoya Brooklyn

Zoya Brooklyn

Zoya Brooklyn is a pretty gold with shimmer.  It does apply a bit streakier compared to the other polishes from this collection, but you can smoothen things out in the second or third coat.

Zoya Cole

Zoya Cole is a nice mango shade.  It's a pretty cream that absolutely screams spring.

Zoya Dillon

Zoya Dillon

Zoya Dillon is a very pretty seafoam green with gold shimmer.  I think this is my favorite in this collection.  It looks amazing both under sunlight and shade.  The shimmer gives this color a very mermaid-esque vibe.

Zoya Dot
Zoya Dot

Zoya Dot is a nice crelly light pink.  Not my favorite because I have similar colors in my collection.  It does however look quite pretty and clean on the nails.

Zoya Hudson

Zoya Hudson is a grape color with obvious silver shimmer.   It looks very springy and since

Zoya Monet

Zoya Monetis a multi-colored flakie topcoat that is so pretty over creme polishes.  It makes nails look pixie-like.

Zoya Rebel

Zoya Rebel

Zoya Rebel is just like Hudson and Dillon, except that this one is a blue with silver flash.  It is a nice springy shade of blue, and the silver shimmer is really pretty especially when light hits it.

All in all, this is a pretty collection to herald the coming of spring.  I particularly like the ones with silver shimmer, namely Zoya Rebel, Hudson and Dillon.  I love how the silver shimmer really takes the look up a notch.

These polishes are available at Zoya.com for $9 each (Monet is $10).

Which ones are your faves?
