OPI Brazil Nail Polish Collection Swatches and Review Part 1

Press sample

A week or so ago, my pretties - the OPI Brazilian collection - came in the mail!

However, one of them arrived broken- my beautiful OPI I Just Can't Cope-acabana. :(

Such a sad day!  I was able to score another OPI I Just Can't Cope-acabana at my local nail supply store, so I now have the entire OPI Brazil collection.  Here are the first six shades and my swatches and thoughts on them.

OPI I Just Can't Cope-acabana

OPI I Just Can't Cope-acabana is a very pretty sunshine yellow cream.  I don't own a lot of yellow nail polishes, so I really wanted to have this one.  It's such a beautiful, summery shade, and I can't wait to wear this either alone or with glitter like the one below:

OPI I Just Can't Cope-acabana layered with Loaded Lacquer indie nail polish in Mint-allica

OPI Don't Bossa Nova Me Around

OPI Don't Bossa Nova Me Around is such a pretty blush-taupe cream!  This is great to wear alone or layered with either nail stamp art or glitter.  The clean canvas makes the nails and hands look so feminine and clean.

OPI Taupe-less Beach

OPI Taupe-less Beach is a nice taupe cream.  I'm pretty much tauped out after the deluge of taupes from different nail polish brands during the past three years or so, but I like Taupe-less Beach - it's not too dark and is very office-appropriate.

OPI I Sao Paolo Over There

OPI I Sao Paolo Over There is a darker taupe grey that is great I guess with any skin color.  When I feel that Taupe-less Beach is a little too light for me but I like something in the same color family, I pick OPI I Sao Paolo Over There.

OPI Kiss Me I'm Brazilian

OPI Kiss Me I'm Brazilian is such a pretty carnation pink!  This is the perfect yellow-toned pink for me.  It's so delicate and springy.

OPI Where Did Suzi's Man-Go?

OPI Where Did Suzi's Man-Go? is a nice light orange cream.  I can't take the name, though.  Sorry OPI.  It is however a great polish color both for the tips and toes.

What do you think of the OPI Brazil collection so far?  I personally love the very springy cream shades!  I will be coming up with Part 2 soon so stay tuned!
