MAC Fantasy of Flowers Lipsticks Swatches, Review

 Press sample

MAC Fantasy of Flowers Collection

I was able to try some of the shades from the MAC Fantasy Fantasy of Flowers collection.   I am really loving the springy shades, and I haven't really liked a MAC collection's ENTIRE range of lip products in a long time.  I am so loving every single one of MAC's lipglass and lipstick in this collection.  I got 5 of the 6 lipsticks, so here are my swatches and thoughts on them.

Lip Swatches:

MAC lipstick in Rose Lily

I normally don't like pale pink lipsticks because they wash me out, but I am liking MAC Rose Lily.  It's a nice, sheer, wearable pale pink that is perfect for spring.  I thought that I can't pull this because I have warm skin, but I like it paired with a darker (but not too dark) lip liner and under a nice cremesheen like those from this collection.

MAC lipstick in Naked Bud

I will post full face lip swatches of these lipsticks, because lip swatches alone don't do these justice.  Naked Bud is one of my favorites from this collection.  It's a pretty neutral sheer nude in the lustre formula.

MAC lipstick in Fleur D'Coral

MAC lipstick in Fleur D'Coral is another favorite.  It's a pale creamy peach in the lustre formula.  I like how its warmth complements my warm skintone.

MAC lipstick in Dreaming Dahlia

Now this is the lipstick I thought I couldn't pull off.  MAC Dreaming Dahlia is sheer-red coral lustre.  The operative word is "lustre".  The lustre shine is sheer enough that Dreaming Dahlia is a beautiful, wearable coral red.

MAC lipstick in Heavenly Hybrid

Heavenly Hybrid is beautiful berry.  It's also a lustre formula so the color is not too in-your-face.

All in all, I am loving the lipsticks from this collection.  I figure many of them will be sold out soon.  I guess my favorites are Fleur D'Coral, Naked Bud, Dreaming Dahlia and Heavenly Hybrid.  The lustre formula makes all these colors look springy, light and airy.

These lip products are now available at MAC stores and counters for $15.00 US / $18.00 CDN.
