OPI Gwen Stefani Collection

Well, well, well!  I was able to play with the gorgeous shades of the OPI Gwen Stefani collection, and let me say I am hooked!  I think this is one of OPI's best collections of late.  It's a smaller collection compared to the big 12-shade collections like Mariah Carey and San Francisco, but I think the colors in the Gwen Stefani collection were really given a lot of thought.

Here are my swatches and thoughts on the OPI Gwen Stefani Collection

OPI Over and Over A-Gwen with included Swarovski Elements studs and crystals

OPI Over and Over A-Gwen with nail jewels included in kit

OPI Over and Over A-Gwen is gorgeous!  It's a bright, fire-engine red creme.  It's one of my favorite reds out of my entire collection, and believe me, I have a lot.  It's so bright and fun!  It's more of a neutral red than a blue-based red to my eyes.

This particular nail lacquer comes in its own box and with Swarovski nail jewels.  I included them in the photos and they just look so cute.

OPI Push and Shove Duet Pack (OPI Push and Shove and OPI Lay Down That Base)

This is another amazing one.  OPI Push and Shove Duet Pack comes with the very chrome polish called Push and Shove, and in the pack is a mini base for the chrome polish called OPI Lay Down That Base.  The base makes the polish look really shiny and bright and gets rid of the little bumps on the nail that ruin the chrome effect.   Again, I gotta say that this is one of the best chrome polishes that I own.  The chrome effect is off the charts, and this looks amazing as a nail stamp polish.  The stamper picks up this polish so easily and transfers effortlessly to the nail bed.

OPI Love, Angel, Music, Baby

OPI Love, Angel, Music, Baby

OPI Love, Angel, Music, Baby is a pretty textured gold.  OPI describes this as a Satin finish.  It looks really classy and sophisticated on the nails.

OPI Hey Baby

OPI Hey Baby is very pretty hot pink creme.  It looks great on my warm skintone, and I know it will also look fabulous on neutral and cool-toned people.

OPI 4 in the Morning

OPI 4 in the Morning is like a shiny black pleather.  It is also a satin finish and looks great either alone or topped with glitter.  For an edgy look, leave it alone.

OPI In True Stefani Fashion over 4 in the Morning

OPI In True Stefani Fashion is a nice glitter topper with different sizes of holographic glitter.  I really like the holographic effect, and because this is a glitter topcoat, you can apply this over any base to bling it up.

OPI I Sing in Color

OPI I Sing in Color

OPI I Sing in Color is like a dark chocolatey creme with flashes of red, somewhat similar to mole sauce.  I like the vampy color of this polish, but not my favorite from the collection.

My favorites are obviously the OPI Over and Over A-Gwen with included Swarovski Elements studs and crystals, Push and Shove duet pack, Hey Baby and 4 in the Morning.  I cannot rave enough about these colors.  OPI took a simple concept like red polish and chrome lacquer and took it to a different level.  I am honestly loving this Gwen Stefani collection.  It does not have very unique shades, but there are something in these colors that somehow piqued my interest.

I just saw these at ULTA so they are now available - go get yours now!
