My Video Post on the Riri Hearts MAC Fall 2013 Collection Swatches and Review already went live on this blog and on my YouTube channel, but here is my written review and photo swatches of the Riri Hearts MAC Fall 2013 cheek products, namely the Diamonds Cream Colour Base, the Bad Girl Gone Good Powder Blush, and the Hibiscus Kiss Blush and Bronzer Duo.

First of all, let me just say that I am in love with MAC Bad Girl Gone Good Blush.  It is the most amazing copperish coral blush that I own.  I love how it looks on my skintone.  It is the perfect shade for my warm complexion.  I believe even those with neutral or cool undertones can pull this off.  Some people say this reminds them of Gingerly, but since I don't have Gingerly, I can't compare.  All I know is that it's beautiful.  I also like that it's in the satin formula, as I don't like too shimmery nor too matte blushes.

I am also liking the MAC Cream Colour Base in Diamonds.  It's perfect as a complexion enhancer or highlighter.  It's champagne color makes it look pretty on top of cheekbones on on the cupid's bow, bridge of the nose, or very sparingly on the temples and forehead.

As I mentioned in my video review, I do NOT recommend the cream colour base as an eyeshadow base, as this will make the shadows crease and look greasy.

Swatches:

I wondered why MAC re-released the Hibiscus Kiss Blush and Bronzer duo yet again in this collection, as it already came out in the summer collection of Riri Hearts MAC.  I compared my summer and fall editions of the Hibiscus Kiss duo in my video review, and I noticed that the coral blush looked deeper and brighter in the summer edition than in the fall one.

Nonetheless, if you are looking for a coral blush and bronzer in one, this is a product that fits the bill.  I just don't like the fact that the bronzer has more real estate in the compact compared to the coral blush.  I wish they were split right in the middle.

As I mentioned in the video, I was disappointed that Hibiscus Kiss was again re-released without any other choices of the blush/bronzer duo.  I was wishing for a pink/bronzer duo, or even a neutral blush and bronzer duo.  The product themselves are decent, with good pigmentation, smooth application and finish, and the Rihanna signature etched on the product is gorgeous.

All in all, I am loving the MAC Bad Girl Gone Good Blush, followed by the Diamonds Cream Colour Base.  They actually look like a pretty good combination, with Diamonds on the cheekbones, and Bad Girl Gone Bad on the apples of the cheeks.

The Shades Of U Rating:

MAC Bad Girl Gone Good Blush: 4.75 out of 5
Diamonds Cream Colour Base: 4.25 out of 5
Hibiscus Kiss Blush and Bronzer duo: 4.0 out of 5
