Have you ever sometimes felt that you have created the perfect face, the perfect makeup and outfit, and yet somehow the whole look doesn't come out right? I noticed that several times in my Makeup of the Day photos. I'd be certain that my foundation is the perfect match, perfect eye makeup and all, and yet I still look off in the photos. I realized it was probably the bulbs in my makeup room that create the distortion and illusion. I'd long wanted to change the lighting in my makeup room where I also film my YouTube videos, and which is also my office, but I was always at a loss on how to go about it, and what bulbs to use.
I was given the chance to try out the new GE energy-efficient reveal® halogen Light Bulbs. These light GE reveal® bulbs are the best way to create a quick and easy room makeover. I was given the chance to try these new bulbs when GE provided me with a 4-pack of GE energy-efficient reveal® Light Bulbs, and create a makeup room makeover. I also added one of the light bulbs in one corner of our living room, which is the first set of pictures you will see below. Take note that the Before photo features a bulb emitting harsh white light instead of an incandescent bulb, but you can still see the obvious difference.

As you can see, the difference is obvious. The new GE reveal® LED halogen Light Bulb is less harsh, it's softer but the images are crisper at the same time.
Let's go to my makeup room/film studio/office where I truly need the makeover. Here is what one of the lamps look like before the makeover:

I LOVE how my makeup room looks using these bulbs! The images look more real and crisp, and even my family members even noticed how "bright it looks without being harsh". It really makes such a difference!
Let's go to the office part of the room. Here's my desk with my banker's lamp:

As you can see, there is an obvious difference. The before photo shows lighting that looks too yellow, has too many shadows which interfere with my desktop functions. The GE reveal® LED halogen Light Bulb gives a brighter appearance to my desk without being glaring or harsh.
All in all, I am really happy with my GE reveal® LED halogen Light Bulb room makeover. I am also happy with the fact that these bulbs actually save me money because they're energy-efficient.
