Disney Jasmine Storylook Palette Vol. 2 Swatches, Look, Review

Disney Jasmine Storylooks palette Vol. 2

(Media sample)

I was able to try the Disney Storylook Palette Volume 2 from Sephora.   Unlike the first volume, the Cinderella palette, the Jasmine Storylook palette features a blush and a bronzer aside from the fifteen eye shadows.  Here are the details of the products included:

This set contains:
- 15 x 0.035 oz eye shadow in Blue Oasis, Trust Me, Abu, Ali Ababwa, Sultana, Friend Like Me, Master, Cosmic, Cave of Wonders, Sand in the Glass, Lapis, Mystical Wonder, Rajah, Arabian Sunset, Bazaar
- 0.12 oz blush in Thrilling Chase
- 0.14 oz bronzer in Golden Sands

Swatches: Blue Oasis, Trust Me, Abu, Ali Ababwa, Sultana

Blue Oasis, Trust Me, Abu, Ali Ababwa

Friend Like Me, Master, Cosmic, Cave of Wonders, Sand in the Glass

Lapis, Mystical Wonder, Rajah, Arabian Sunset
Bazaar

As you can see from the swatches, the eye shadows are bright, pigmented, and truly saturated with color.  I really loved how these applied on the skin.  They showed up even without a primer underneath, although for truly vibrant hues and long-lasting staying power, I suggest that a good primer is applied prior to using these shadows.

The blush called Thrilling Chase is a nice mauvish pink, and the bronzer called Golden Sands is exactly what it is called- it has a goldish tan shade.

Below is a look I used using the Jasmine Storylook palette.  I absolutely love it!  I used the blues and plums in the bunch.

I used Friend like Me on the Lid, Master on the crease and outer V, Mystical Wonder and a little bit of Lapis on the crease, and Lapis on the lower lashline.

Because this palette did not have a rich black (which is a bummer because all the other shades would go well with a rich black),  I opted to use Oil Slick eye shadow from Urban Decay from my Ammo palette on the outer lid.

I used Ali Ababwa to highlight mixed with Sand in the Glass.

All in all, I am really loving this palette. I enjoyed getting creative and coming up with color combinations for my shadows. I can't wait to come up with another eye look using this palette.

I heard ARIEL's gonna be the next Princess palette. How exciting is that?!

This palette retails for $55 and is available at Sephora.
