WInstonia 8-Piece Nail Art Brush and Dotting Tool Set Review

I love nail art a lot, just because I basically love nail polish and anything sparkly, fancy or glittery on my nails. Unfortunately, I can only do nail stamp art because I am such a non-artist that I can't really do intricate freestyle nail art. I kind of resigned myself to the thinking that I will never be able to do freestyle art on my nails - that is, until I had my hands on really great tools that made my first foray into freestyle nail art as uncomplicated as possible.

I should have known that all it takes to have really cute freestyle nail art is a set of tools that would really go a long way. You don't need the fanciest of tools at all- you just need a set of nail art brushes and dotting tools - you can go a long way with these two types of tools.

I was able to try a set of nail art brushes and dotters from Winstonia. Winstonia is an online retailer focusing on beauty accessories such as nail art accessories, false eyelashes, hair extensions etc. Winstonia is also a seller across major US marketplaces including Amazon.com and eBay.com. The set that I got is the Winstonia 8pc Nail Art Dotting Tool and Detailing Painting Brush Set. It's a sturdy set of nail brushes, and the dotting tools are dual edged, and have a total of 8 different sizes of dotting heads.

The set also comes with a 100/180 grit nail file which is great because I am always on the hunt for nail files.  I also like the sleek little black case so you don't lose your tools.

A little note, though: avoid using acetone on the handles of the brushes as they can bleed.

I used the dotting tools to create little dots on my manicure to welcome the New Year:

I also used the dotting tools to create little pastel polka dot designs that are perfect for spring/Easter:

I used the brushes to create the petals of the flowers above.  I swear I am really getting the hang of this. I can't wait to create more designs (no matter how rudimentary they look!).

The best part is that the 8-pc nail brush and dotting tool set is pretty affordable.  It retails for $8.95 and you can use Paypal to check out.

I am looking forward to creating more freestyle nail art using these tools!

The best part is that you can use the coupon code SHADEOFU to get 10% off store-wide!

Note: Media sample was provided by a representative of the retailer for consideration.  All opinions are completely mine.
