China Glaze Wicked Collection Swatches and Review

I hope everybody had a great Thanksgiving! I unearthed some photo swatches of the China Glaze Halloween offering called Wicked in my iPhoto, and I know it's a tad too late, but as they say, better late than never! Also, the reason why I still want to publish swatches of this collection is that I think this is the best Halloween collection from China Glaze that I've come across. I love the buttery smooth formula of the shades, and many of the shades are quite unique.

Here are my thoughts on the six colors.

China Glaze Wicked
China Glaze Bizarre Blurple (sunlight)

China Glaze Wicked
(shade)

Bizaare Blurple is a really nice purple with blue metallic shimmer. This looks really vivid in real life, and it complements my skintone (or many skintones for that matter).

China Glaze Wicked
Roguish Red (sunlight)

Roguish Red is one of my favorites from this collection. This is a simple red orange creme, but the thing that stands out in my opinion is the formula. It's very smooth, buttery, and it glides like a dream on the nailbed.

China Glaze Make a Spectacle over Roguish Red (sunlight)

China Glaze Wicked

Make a Spectacle is hands down my favorite flakie polish that came out recently. It's a gorgeous opalescent glitter flakie with tinges of orange that are very harvest fall. This looks different with every new polish underneath.

China Glaze Immortal (sunlight)

China Glaze Immortal
(shade)

Ahh, Immortal. This is probably the star of the collection. It's beautiful iridescent grey with blue, purple shimmer with an icy silver film in some lights.  Just gorgeous and the formula is fantastic.

China Glaze Glitter Goblin alone and over Rougish Red (sunlight)

China Glaze Wicked
(shade)

Glitter Goblin is an orange, holo with some silver and black glitter in a clear base.  This is my least favorite polish in this collection as I am not a fan of very fine glitter.

China Glaze WICKED
China Glaze Cast a Spell (sunlight)

China Glaze WICKED
(shade)

The many photos don't do justice to this gorgeous shade.   Cast a Spell is a blackened green with lots of gold microglitter.  The first time I applied this, I was instantly wowed by how opaque this formula was.  It applied like a dream and was opaque in one coat.  The shade also looks amazing especially when light hits it.

All in all, the Wicked collection is a small but gorgeous one filled with really nice shades and the formula is a special treat.  I believe you can still find this collection at Sally Beauty stores and ebay or online stores.
