I posted my IMATS L.A. 2012 Experience Part I in a previous entry. Here is the continuation of my adventure at International MakeUp Artist Trade Show Pasadena last Saturday, June 23, 2012. I have written about my first impressions, thoughts and opinions about the event in my first entry, so I will be mostly posting some amazing photos from the show.
The line wrapping around the convention center. Yikes!
Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics
OCC airbrush makeup
I got a few of the famous OCC lip tars! Review and swatches soon!
I also met some of the amazing people behind Too Faced!
TooFaced's gorgeous palettes. I love Too Faced shadows- they glide very smoothly on the skin, the colors are rich and saturated.
Who can forget NYX's jampacked booth filled with all the amazing NYX goodies?
The Benefit Brow Bar. Wish I tried this one!
I think it is imperative that one gets false lashes at every IMATS show. I mean, come on. The lashes were very reasonably priced, the famous one dollar lashes were there too! I was able to stock up on my favorite Red Cherry lashes from LadyMoss. I was like a kid in a candy store as I browsed at their booth! They had their Red Cherry lashes for 12 for $20, so of course I got a dozen. The owner of LadyMoss also very graciously provided me some of their dramatic Eylure Lashes. I can't wait to try them out. I also got no less than 22 (!) pairs of lashes from Nigel Beauty Emporium. It was hard not to hoard when the lashes were 7 for $10! I will post an IMATS haul in a separate entry, so stay tuned!
Lady Moss booth
I just wanna dive into this pool of Red Cherries!
Of course there's an Ardell booth
Mink lashes from Velour
I was not only able to browse the booths, I was also witness to the beautiful makeup artistry and creativity that pervaded the Pasadena convention center. The creations were astounding and just gorgeous. I was also able to get a peek into some of the most famous makeup creations in films and movies.
Basic Character Class
As I said in my previous entry, I have been bitten by the IMATS bug, I can't wait to go back to IMATS Pasadena this coming January 19-20, 2013!
