The video submissions for the third challenge, “FANTASY”, went up today, Tuesday, May 22nd on www.nyxfaceawards.com for anyone to vote on until May 26th. You still have time to vote for your favorite!
NYX Cosmetics has selected the top 12 contestants to continue on in the NYX Cosmetics’ FACE Awards – the competition to find the National Beauty Vlogger of the Year!
In the NYX Cosmetics’ FACE Awards 2nd challenge, The 12 semi-finalists won the public over using the Dark Shadows inspired NYX Crimson Amulet Collection Palette to transform themselves into characters inspired by the film. Now the pressure is on for these remaining contestants to create out-of-this-world looks for the 3rd challenge: an open-ended competition where they will have full creative freedom to create looks under the overall category “FANTASY”. That is, if they’d like to make it to the top six and be flown to Los Angeles to compete in a LIVE RUNWAY EVENT for the title of National Beauty Vlogger of the Year!! Starting May 22nd, watch the vivid imaginations of the semi-finalists come to life in their video submissions, which will be posted online for the public to vote on through May 26th.
ABOUT THE NYX COSMETICS’ FACE AWARDS:
NYX Cosmetics is proud to present the Fine Artistry of Cosmetic Elites (FACE) Awards. Over the years, we have seen the beauty vlogger community grow into one of the most robust, energetic communities on Youtube and across the web. Therefore, NYX Cosmetics wanted to create an event that gives back to this community and rewards them for their passion and creativity. The FACE Awards allows us to shed a spotlight on the up and coming beauty vloggers, and unite the community behind a single annual event.
The Competition began with an open call for entries and the top 30 contestants were chosen by a judging panel. These contestants went on to compete in the first challenge and from there the top 20 contestants were chosen to compete in the second challenge. After this challenge and voting, the top 12 contestants will move on to the third and last challenge. From there, the top 6 contestants with the highest votes will be flown out to Los Angeles to compete for the title of the National Beauty Vlogger of the Year! Each of the five runners up will receive a year’s worth of NYX Cosmetics, but the winner of the contest will take home a cash prize of $25,000, as well as access to influential beauty insiders, consultation with top industry experts, and national publicity.
