Thin, Crisp, Precise: Hourglass Script Precision Liquid Liner Review

Ever seen those beautiful cat-eye looks in a magazine or blog that you've always wanted to replicate? I've always wondered if these makeup mavens have never tasted a drop of coffee in their lives as they always make the most precise, crisp lines that only a steady hand can make. I also like to make thin lines on my upper lashline as really thick ones make my eyes look squinty. I also like the convenience of a felt-tip liner (those Sharpie-like liners) because it gives me good control in application.

I was excited to the Hourglass Script Precision Liquid Liner because it has the thinnest eyeliner point I've ever seen. I thought MAC's Penultimate liner in Rapidblack was the thinnest, but Hourglass Script is much more svelte! It has the thinnest point ever for those thin, precise lines that I crave for the perfect cat eye.

What I love about this product is that it is very versatile. You can use this to apply on your lashline to just make the lashes look more lush and to subtly define the eye. You can apply a very thin strip on your lashline for a barely there liner look, and still appear fresh-eyed and polished. You can use this to lightly define your lashline and pair with va-va-voom falsies and a red lip. Or, you can go all-out and create a sexy cat eye using this super thin liner.

Unlike other pointy felt liners, this is saturated with ink and does not apply splotchy or patchy on the skin. It gives precise, crisp lines that I've always wanted in liners.

using Hourglass Script Precision Eyeliner. It wasn't as thin as I intended it to be because I had false lashes and had to cover the spine of the lashes with the eyeliner. It was very good at making precise, cat-eye lines.

The only downside to this product is that if you want a thicker line, you would have to apply this several times on your lashline and build it up to achieve the thickness that you want, as the tip is quite miniscule. If you want thick, fat lines, you're better off using a gel liner with a brush that has medium to thick hairs.
